Dr. Jessica Peatling

Dr. Peatling and Tortie

Veterinarian

Dr. Jessica Peatling developed a love for dogs, cats and horses at an early age and was eager to pursue a career as a veterinarian.  After obtaining a degree in Science and Business at the University of Waterloo, she completed her veterinary degree at the Ontario Veterinary College where she graduated in 2009. This was followed by an internship in Kentucky, and certification in Animal Chiropractic through the College of Animal Chiropractic in Kansas.

Following graduation, Dr. Peatling embarked on a career initially focused on horses, and has since re-directed her focus to small animal medicine. Professionally, Dr. Peatling has served on the Ontario Animal Health Network (OAHN) committee and enjoys mentoring aspiring veterinarians. She has been with us since April 2018.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Peatling enjoys spending time with her family, including her nieces and nephews who keep her playful at heart, and a family cat named Rose who comes with a spicy temperament but an affectionate demeanor.
